Palazzo Bernardo in Venice...The building is sometime in the beginning of the XV century, respectable family Bernardo decided to build a new residence on the Grand Canal at the corner of Rio della Madonnetta. The details of the construction history is silent, but it is known that it was completed in 1442.As archival documents, that's when the palazzo was visiting the Duke of Milan, Francesco Sforza and his wife Bianca Visconti. I must say that it is often served as a "hotel" for the nobility, the very same family Bernardo occupied only a part of the building. Initially, the palazzo was built for two families, so it made two separate portal for the entrance of the channel. Four-storey mansion designed in the Venetian Gothic style and has in the center of the front two floors with a multi section arched windows. Moreover, they are asymmetric - because of the width of the arches a little not the same, the lower loggia "moving out" to the right.
