Féau & Cie Boiserie...The incredible beauty of decorative woodwork. This respected and well-recognized firm dates back to 1875, when C. Fournier enjoyed collaborations with a number of distinguished architects—on buildings such as: the Palais Rose, located in Paris, and the Villa Ephrusi for Rothschild at St Jean Cap Ferrat...It was in 1919 with D. Greloux, that they continued their work in the pure French 18th century style, contributing to the New York World Fair in 1939 and the very first manifestations of French Art Deco in Paris. Joël Féau joined the firm afterward, "and continued this activity and considerably enlarged the collection of period documents, as well as taking part in the first Biennales des Antiquaires et des Décorateurs in Paris." Today, the beautiful decorative woodwork can be viewed at the Metropolitan Museum in New York and also at the Getty Museum. Additionally (more recently), they are working on projects across the globe—from Chicago to Tokyo.
