Bring indoors the freshness and the light of the rio Tejo was the goal of the architects of Studio Sá, Spider & Vasconcelos to reform this apartment in Lisbon.
Situated on the top floor of a building constructed in the early 1970, the property was chambered in small environments. The solution found was to open up some walls in the social area and delete all ports except those of rooms, ensuring communication between the spaces, especially in the social area.
From there, the architects chose neutral tones of paint, with predominance of gray, who won life with the profusion of colorful contemporary art works in virtually every environment, including service. The furniture, on the other hand, searching for references in the past, in a remarkable collection of Antiquities of the 17 and 18 centuries.
The balance between art nouveau and the period furniture, compounded by the furniture of tints, both in the rooms and dormitories. Most of them have own design architects Sá, Spider & Vasconcelos, which stand out as one of the most promising design offices of Portugal. Added to all the chairs Fight, Antonio Citterio, in the kitchen, and the luminaire Citadel, Quasar, in the dining room.
