PRADA'S LATEST SHOP IS ITS SWEETEST YET... The Italian fashion house is trying its hand in the pastry business.

Sweets and high fashion may seem like an odd fit – can you really imagineGisele Bündchen scarfing down a canoli? – but in the world of Prada, they go hand-in-hand.
Early last year, according to High Snobiety, the Italian fashion house became the majority shareholder in famed, 191-year-old pastry shop Pasticceria Marchesi. Now, Prada is rebuilding the historic eatery's brand identity, starting with a decadent flagship location in the heart of Milan – which has just opened to the public.
Found on upscale shopping street, Via Montenapoleone, the new café is no hole-in-the-wall. The countertops, floors, and entryway walls are all clad in marvelous marbles. Overhead, beautifully beamed ceilings steal the show, while the pastel color scheme evokes the essence of sugary goodness.
But the best part? There's an entire wall dedicated to pastries.
The menu includes fluffy croissants, rich chocolates, and sugar-coated candies. Plus, Pasticceria Marchesi bakes all of its pastries on the premises daily, to ensure only the freshest, most delicious treats are served. Yum!
