when new york city-based photographer andrew prokos looks at frank gehry’s architecture he sees the singular parts as well as the whole. he recently deconstructed the canadian architect’s EMP museum in seattle (also known as the experience music project and science fiction museum and hall of fame) through a series of fine art photographs entitled ‘gehry’s children’. the images allow the onlooker to access the structural framework of the towering, sheet-metal construction in a new way by focusing on its elemental shapes and raw textures.
