Villa Valmarana ai Nani is a Venetian villa located near the city of Vicenza , on the slopes of Monte Berico , famous for its frescoes by Giambattista Tiepolo and his son Domenico . The nickname by which it is known (to differentiate it from the other villas in the same family) is due to the stone sculptures representatives of the dwarves , once spread around the park today lined up on the wall. The villa, although still today the residence of the noble family of Valmarana , is open to the public, like the nearby Villa Capra "La Rotonda" of Palladio , also owned by the Valmarana the driveway to the villa from the road branches off in fact for the Rotunda, just a few hundred meters.
